残業ゼロの日

Today was, what we call, no extra work day. That means every one has to leave the office at the time of regular working hours end. I left my office around 6 p.m., got some foods and cooked dinner. It was the first time in about 6 months that I saw a sunset after my work of a day. After Shiro was back home, we had a dinner and talked about our holiday's plan.

It is an exciting day for me just because I get home much earlier than usual. But at the same time, "no extra work day" sounds strange for me. Does it mean every one in Japan has extra working hours and works until late at night if we don't have that kind of day?!
